Industry-leading expertise

Our field service engineers bring you the expertise that Anthony-Ross has developed as leaders in the port rodding industry and in 25 years of working in our customers’ mills all over the world. Anthony-Ross field service engineers are supported by our headquarters staff, which is just a phone call away if assistance is needed.

Service options

There are four main categories of on-site service visits, although we can certainly customize our program to best meet specific equipment, budget and administrative needs. We encourage you to call our Customer Service Team to discuss the best service option for your equipment at 877-641-0545.

Courtesy calls and visits: Our field service engineers each have been assigned specific mills and are calling these mills on a regular basis to check on the condition of the Anthony-Ross equipment and to determine whether the mill needs assistance in any way.

Service Agreement visits: Many mills like to have a field service engineer available on a regular basis to offer thorough written inspections of their equipment, ongoing training for their maintenance personnel and supervision for maintenance activities. A Service Agreement is customized, offering specific service days and visits to meet the customer’s maintenance and outage requirements.

DLM (Daily Labor and Material) visits: For mills needing more or less than what a typical Service Agreement visit offers, we offer our field service engineers on a time and material (DLM) basis. Hourly rates cover all costs associated with the visit, including salaries, expenses, ground travel and overhead. (Airfare not included.) We offer estimates for DLM service and, upon request, will quote a not-to-exceed price.

Turnkey Maintenance Agreement: This is simply a variation of the DLM visit, in which we subcontract or supply ARC labor to perform all of the maintenance activities. Prior to the maintenance visit we provide a thorough inspection of the equipment to establish the scope of work, the estimated time required and a parts list. Based on that inspection we provide a proposal for turnkey maintenance, including a description of the service required, necessary spare parts and cost, and a not-to-exceed price for labor. Following the mill’s review, the scope and schedule of the proposed service can be adjusted to fit specific requirements.
